This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our software, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the 21 Pics Studio website, the Caption 21 plugin and the Link Drop plugin.

What we collect

• Contact form and email. When you send an enquiry we receive your name, email address, the type of project, your city and your message. The same applies to anything you send us by email or Instagram.
• Caption 21 purchases. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record. We receive your name, email address, what you bought and your licence key. We never see your card details.
• Caption 21 licence activation. Activating the plugin sends your licence key and your computer's name to our licence provider (Lemon Squeezy) so activations can be counted. Your videos and audio never leave your computer: transcription runs locally.
• Link Drop purchases. Payment is handled by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record. We receive your name, email address and what you paid. We never see your card details.
• Link Drop. Link Drop connects only to the links you give it and to the update source of its downloader. It does not send us your links, your files or your projects.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, quote and deliver your project.
• To deliver the software you bought, manage your licence and give you support.
• To keep the business and tax records the law requires.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing unless you ask for it.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The website host may record basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver and protect the site.

Who helps us

We use a few service providers, who may store information outside Australia:

• Wix, which hosts this website.
• FormSubmit, which forwards the contact form to our email.
• Google (Gmail), where our email is kept.
• Lemon Squeezy, which runs the Caption 21 checkout, licences and refunds.
• Gumroad, which runs the Link Drop checkout.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to follow them up. Purchase and business records are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires, currently up to five years.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to 21picssss@gmail.com. If you are not happy with how we handled it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
